Heaven Lost an Angel Tonight Dance Las Vegas
Piano intro, whooshing strings Van Halen-esque guitar solo's and a singer who could almost be Amy Lee, and yes; they're from Teesside.
Think stadium rock in the vein of Meatloaf or Bonnie Tyler at her extravagant height, and you have an idea what Dance! Las Vegas are all about
Reaching both forward and backwards for influences there is a definite homage to the hair rockers of the early and mid 80's as well as nod to more recent alternative rock/post grunge bands such as Evanescence.
Heaven Lost An Angel Tonight is a simply stunning, sumptuous and glorious four minutes.
The B-Side; When in Rome Do What Roman's Do could well be Evanescence - stylish & slick and totally unlike anything that's happening in the local music scene at the moment - this is truly exceptional work
Their depth, quality and originality puts them way above their peers. This is a superb debut.
