Big Sister at The Lord Nelson, Stockton

Big Sister are one of the better known bands in the Teesside area. The members of the band have been entertaining us for the last ten years. We caught up with Big Sister at The Lord Nelson in Stockton although this is far from the first time we have seen them!
Fronted by Linda Malcomson and backed
up by Pete Flint - Bass, Stan Thompson - Lead Guitar and Chris Bennet- drums. Big Sister treated us to an array of tunes including All or Nothing and Look but Don't Touch. They clearly enjoy what they are doing and the performance was tight. Exactly what we have come to expect from Big Sister! Linda is a constant treat to watch, not only does she have a huge voice she has the personality to match and interacts with her audience non stop.
The guys also join in and the banter between the band members during their performance highlights the closeness of the group.
We saw a lot of faces from previous gigs there that night, this band has a hell of a reputation and a huge following. Each time we have seen Big Sister play it has been to a full house.
The second half was brilliant, ending the evening with their rendition of Highway to Hell and leaving us all rocking and shouting for more.
Big Sister are playing all over the North East this year, watch out for them at your local or check out their website for where they are playing.
