When Butterflies Attack mCcormick
Anyone who has seen mCcormick live will no doubt be familiar with the majority of the songs on this, his debut CD. The surprise is that instead of the expected Vocals & Guitar, all the songs have been fully fleshed out. mCcormick the solo artist has evolved, become mCcormick the Band, with well thought out and cleverly crafted pop/rock arrangements utilizing Guitars, Bass, Drums and Keyboards, and not forgetting those superb string arrangements.
Fans will absolutely love this album, and thanks to the talents of engineer/producer Mike Frankland of Castlegate Studios, has opened up Steve's work to a much wider audience.
Stand out tracks include the very Russo-influenced "I Want You" and the heart rending "Good to See You Back". Quite simply, this is a fantastic album and I'd urge anyone to buy it; a very worthy addition to anyone's CD collection.
