Eskimo Sandwich - My Sunlight

Eskimo Sandwich are a young 4-piece hailing from Northallerton, and on the evidence of this EP are surely destined for big things. It was an absolute joy to review this CD for North East Live, not just because, as a Teenager of the 80's this brought back memories of some great times, but because musically it's fantastic.

Yes indeed, there seems to be a penchant for reviving the spirit (if not the ethos) of the 80's at the moment. And Eskimo Sandwich does it with aplomb; great catchy hook driven tunes that will have you humming them for days. These 3 tracks will certainly put you in mind of some of the more iconic bands of the 80's; Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Talk Talk. Don't just take my word for it, go visit their MySpace & listen for yourself; be warned though, you'll wake up humming their songs.
