Joining hands across the water are top American songwriter and instrumentalist Tim O'Brien with Scotland's talented Kris Drever.
Tim O'Brien is a Grammy Award winning American country and bluegrass musician, and one of the finest at that. He's had a successful solo career and has also collaborating with other artists such as Kathy Mattea, and can currently be found playing as part of Mark Knopfler's band.
Kris Drever, most famous for his part in folk trio Lau, has worked with the cream of the British folk crop including Kate Rusby, John McCusker, Eddi Reader and Julie Fowlis. After releasing his first album, Black Water, in 2006 he shot to prominence.
