Hi my name is LOFTUS OPEN ACOUSTIC, I live in a magic place known as THE STATION HOTEL or for those in the know, " THE NEW CENTER OF THE MUSICAL UNIVERSE" the place where I live is run by a very important man, his name is Dave Fitzpatrick, he provides everything you could ask for to run our very special Thursday nights and on odd occasions Friday nights, he is assisted by Holly Enticknap his partner, together these two people make it possible for me to make something very special happen, that special thing is looked after and cared for by Tony Leonard a man who loves music and Loftus with a passion, Tony is an organiser par excellence, he is also very wise, witty and careing, and work's tirelessly to bring Loftus and Loftus Open Acoustic to the attention of THE WORLD. Tony is not on his own though, there are two more people who share his passion and vision and help make the magic happen, they are Ian and Catherine Swinburne, they work as a team and look after the sound and vision, they also act as envoy's spreading the word and inviting people to sample the magic. LOFTUS OPEN ACOUSTIC happens every Thursday from 8.00 it is so much more than an open mic, its more like a family, please check us out, people travel many miles to be part of what we are.
