Rock Legends for MOHO
Organisers of an all-day gig in Camden this Bank Holiday Sunday May 30 featuring bands from Hartlepool are hoping to include some very special guests.
MOHO (Music of Hartlepool Origin) will be an exodus of the County Durham town's groups in what is going to be the gig of the year.
And MOHO hope Hartlepool-born Iron Maiden guitarist Janick Gers and Hartlepool United loving rock legend Meat Loaf will be special guests at the bash.
A MOHO spokesman said: “Janick went to school with the elder brother of the drummer in one of the bands, The White Negroes, and he has invited him along.
“Janick has always kept in touch and takes an interest in the music scene of his hometown, so the MOHO gig is something he may well attend.
“It is hoped that Janick will also invite along Meat Loaf, who he knows in rock circles, as he has famously said he is a Hartlepool United and H’Angus the Monkey fan”
