We have to say this week was the busiest to date despite there being only two bands competing. The house was full from the doors opening and we knew we were in for a good night! This powerpop / blues band were completely in control as they took to the stage.
The band of Mojo's can only be described as one of the best acts currently going around the local circuit. Formed of well seasoned performers this entertaining band positively rocked Doc Browns with their own material and their distinctive versions of well known covers, including a very unique interpretation of Whole Lotta Love.
Another fantastic performance from a much loved local band!
Innuendo

Up next tonight we had Innuendo from Middlesbrough. Innuendo have a reputation for being one of the foremost local bands in the alternative / rock genre. We should have guessed by the amount of supporters these guys had that we were in for a fine performance, and thats exactly what we got!
Innuendo put on an energetic performance enhanced by fantastic musical ability and original material that was both entertaining and inspired. Throw in a couple of covers and you have a recipe for success!
Innuendo have appeared locally at many venues and are sure to be ones that we will be hearing a lot more about in the future.
We have put 5 categories in the judging criteria for this battle. Entertainment Value, Originality, Presentation, Musical Ability and Overall performance. Each band can score a maximum of 50 points from each judge based on the five categories.
