Secret Valentine
Secret Valentine are a female fronted 5-piece hailing from in and around the Teesside area. The band was started by lead singer, Sam Brewster and lead guitarist, Ste Trenholm in 2005. They would later go on to recruit former Box Social members, drummer, Scott Mitchell in 2008, rhythm guitarist, Roy Myers in 2009 and finally bassist, Martin Batchelor in 2010 to complete the line-up. The band would make their debut in March 2010 as one of the opening acts at the Make A Scene Festival. Their debut would be quickly followed by noteable performances in support of Random Hand and at another festival, Middlesbrough Music Live. Their most recent gig came at Bad Medicine's weekly rock night in another support slot, this time to local band, About A Plane Crash.
The draw from a whole host of influences from pop to rock and drawing comparisons with bands such as Paramore, Lostprophets, Jimmy Eat World and Green Day.
